so proud of you, Sister! My weight loss journey has been something else. Yes, I am on track for bariatric surgery but Lord knows what will happen with that . . . the “liver reduction diet” they put me on in January has reduced me down to 228 pounds. I’m just doing what the doctors tell me to do, trusting in God, and not eating!

Sure wish I was coming your way but, alas, my wings have been clipped at least this year

Our 8 year old daughter was hit and killed by a car 13 years ago and I still remember some of the insane things people said but the one in your article that I heard more than once and drove me crazy was the comparison to the loss off someone’s pet (who was like their child). I wanted to scream and pull out my own hair every time I heard it. I can’t believe this is really something people say. Still just amazes me.

This bread is delicious! Do you think the recipe would work as a pumpkin nut bread if I substituted canned pumpkin for the bananas? Would the pumpkin need more sweetener? What do you think? Because Pumpkin bread is my next favorite and I would love a healthy version and this banana bread version is so perfect as an alternative to the usual sugar and fat laden recipies I’ve made in the past. Thank you very much!

Let’s make it an even dozen!! can’t find my Banana cake recipe so will do banana bread, wanted the healthier version since I have walnuts, whole wheat, and molasses plus the banana!! Ovens on!!

I am definitely still here, I missed your posts. I would like to know more about the baby (boy or girl), preparations for the baby, how the other children are preparing for the new member of the family, and what fashions for pregnant women are available. I enjoy the menu plans. Reading my comment over, I realize that I’m very noisy, You have always been so open about your family that I sorta feel like you are my family also. This was fantastic! Not too sweet, and love the use of solely whole wheat flour. I used white whole wheat, and it was delicious. I even used a bit less honey and unsweetened applesauce and found it to be plenty sweet.
